TC Helicon Voicetone Harmony GXT

Before I start telling you about the Voicetone Harmony GXT, let me say that in general, sound guys (at least the ones on my team) do not like this. Basically what it does is gives the ability to add effects to your voice to you, instead of the sound board. Why do I do this? So first off let me say that when I use the GXT I do not use it to its fullest capacity nor would I want to. I use it to just put a bit of airiness on my voice, so it does not sound so dry in our broadcast mix. If you are live streaming your music for you Sunday morning services, you know exactly what I am talking about. The GXT allows me to dial in just a bit of ambience that in general can not be put on my voice from the house sound system because the room that we have our services in is already very lively. We hold our services in the hardwood floored, concrete wall gym. That said, I love this thing! The way I have it set up on my pedal board (yep an acoustic pedal board) is such that my mic via XLR is plugged directly in to the GXT and then out again to the floor XLR. I set the input 1/4 turn, Tone-off, Guitar to Auto, FX 1/2 turn using Hall, and harmony off. Like I said I use it very simply. I have played around with the Combi and SFX setting, and they sound really good if it is just you and your acoustic. (reminds me of how Phil Wickham sounds when he plays solo). I think I paid about $25o for it on Amazon. Any how check one out if you can.
