Planning Center Online

One of the main tools that I have been using for years now is Planning Center Online (PCO). PCO is a life saver when it comes to scheduling teams, organizing music and everything else in between. I am not sure how I would do what I do without this tool. The main thing that I use if for is keeping track of who is on the team for that week. Now I am not just talking about singers and players here, I am talking about everyone who makes Sunday morning happen. From Sound, lighting, video, camera’s and even at one point ushers. One thing you may find, is that when you start to work at a church in a certain area, that area tends to expand beyond what you first were hired or volunteered for. As the Worship Pastor, I have some other jobs that I have taken on, some voluntarily and some that needed to be done and there was nobody else to do them. Hence, my current position as Worship Pastor / Creative Arts Director. Without planning center taking off some of the organization burden, again I am not sure where I would be. I suggest taking a look at the whole suite of tools within the planning center family if your church is searching for an all encompassing solution to church management. Currently I utilize PCO for the worship planning and team organization modules. One of the modules within the suite is Music Stand. Integrating music stand with other software products like Song Select and PraiseCharts is a great way to get the big music stands off of your platform and integrate a more sleek solution like an iPad. There are plenty of online resources that go into PCO’s offerings. There are some other platforms that offer similar products, but for me Planning Center Online takes the cake and wins the day!
